(SETimes.com) Officials, students and professors believe the Erasmus Plus educational exchange programme will bring Ukraine students more opportunities to benefit from grants, academic co-operation and youth exchanges.
"The scholarship programme Erasmus Plus has opened only this year and will be available for the next seven years," the representative of the National Erasmus Plus Office in Ukraine, Svitlana Batsiukova, told students at Karazin Kharkiv University.
About 4,000 young Ukrainians are expected to participate in university exchanges under the programme, which provides grants for training and teaching opportunities abroad. More than 7,000 students will receive EU support for youth exchanges in the European Voluntary Service or through funding the mobility of youth workers.
"In addition to this, Ukrainian students and universities will be eligible for scholarships to follow full joint master's degrees offered by consortia of European universities," the programme said in a statement. […]
