President of Georgia Margvelashvili at GW; Dr. Welt Moderates

Washington, DC — President of Georgia, H. E. Giorgi Margvelashvili, joined students and guests at the George Washington University this morning to share his outlook on “Enhancing Euro-Atlantic Security.”

President Margvelashvili offered views on the changing significance of the Caucasus region, the benefits of security cooperation between Georgia and the West, and Georgia's prospects for greater integration with the Euro-Atlantic community. 

Dr. Cory Welt, co-Director of PONARS Eurasia, served as the moderator of the event, which had a strong guest and media turnout. The event video is available here.
