(Exponent Telegram) Something a lot of people might not realize is that residents aren’t directly voting for president, and most Americans never will actually vote for president. Instead, they’re voting for electors to represent them.
The number of electors is based on the number of U.S. representatives and U.S. senators, so each state has at least three.
