Результаты парламентских выборов в Грузии для всех оказались неожиданными. Практически никто, кроме, естественно, самих апологетов победившей «Грузинской мечты» Бидзины Иванишвили, не ожидал столь безоговорочной победы оппозиции. Впрочем, главной ошибкой большинства экспертов, отслеживающих предвыборную динамику в Грузии, явилась не недооценка электоральных предпочтений грузинских избирателей. Еще за несколько месяцев до выборов 1 октября практически всем было ясно, что Саакашвили заметно «сдает» оппозиционному блоку, особенно в столице, и без административно-силового ресурса ему не победить «чисто» в этих выборах. Главной проблемой для экспертов и комментаторов стала существенная переоценка потенциала именно этого самого административного ресурса, который в ходе выборов оказался вдруг недееспособным. […]
